Lord Jesus Christ has declared the following words before his death. “I am telling you the truth; if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him to life on the last day. For my flesh is the real food; my blood is the real drink. Whoever eats flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I live in him” (John 6/53 – 56)
Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, as an Apostle of Lord Jesus Christ, used to on and off, distribute the Body of Christ, in the form of Holy Host, and the Blood of Christ, in the form of Grape Wine, to the devotees during Holy Masses he offers, to show his obedience to the words that Lord Jesus Christ has declared.
Devotees who participated in the Holy Mass which was offered by the Holy Apostolic Father, was fortunate to obtain the noble opportunity of receiving the Body of Christ and the Blood of Christ, from the sacred arms of the Holy Apostolic Father. This Holy Mass was offered in the evening of 27th April 2013, in Sts. Peter & Paul garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
